More good news for those of you studying hard: we are extending opening hours in Peirson Library, starting next week. Between 11th January and 22nd January (inclusive) the Peirson Building will be open until midnight.

In addition, here’s a reminder of the PC rooms available to you in Peirson and elsewhere on campus.

  • In Peirson, PL 1002 (the Information Skills room) has 19 dual-boot iMacs, running OSX 10.5 (Leopard) and Windows XP Pro, for use during normal Library opening hours.
  • The following rooms are available for students requiring subject specific software: EEG 023 has 22 PCs – available for Geography students. EE 1101 is available for Education students.

For access to the following rooms out-of-hours, please contact Security through main reception:

  • In Edward Elgar Building, EEG 031 has 34 PCs and EEG 169 has 27 PCs. These rooms are available 24/7 for all students when not being used for teaching.
