We have books in the library. You may have noticed them on the first floor. We also have books online. Just think: no need to renew, no fines, to need to carry heavy texts home on the bus. Interested?

There are several e-books packages. MyILibrary contains titles for most of the subjects that we teach here. You can read the whole book online, or print or download up to 10 pages at a time. You can also search all the books for things you’re interested in.

We also have some specialist collections. English and Drama students should check out the Cambridge Online Literature and Classics Collection, Early English Books Online (EEBO), Eighteenth Century Collections Online (ECCO), the Shakespeare Collection or the Victorian Plays Project. For Psychology students we have PsycBooks. History, Sociology and Geography students, visit the ACLS Humanities E-books Collection.

To access any of these packages log in and go to the library catalogue. Click on E-Books. Search. Easier than lugging a pile of books in the rain.
