You’re probably starting to hear a lot about using decent academic sources in your assignments so it’s time to remind you all of the wonder that is Academic Search Complete. There are lots of journals databases around (you’ll have seen some mentioned here before) but ASC contains some of the best and juiciest articles and is useful for most of the subjects we teach here.

What is ASC? It is our biggest database, containing more than 7000 different full-text journals. More than 6000 of these are peer-reviewed, meaning that they have been through ‘quality control’ and have been approved by a panel of experts in the subject. This means they are suitable for use in your assignments.

To access ASC log on to your university account and go to Resources Online. Select E-Resources, choose your subject area and then pick ASC from the list.

Want to know more? Then click here for a video showing how to search Academic Search Complete. Countless great articles await you.
