Companions February 7, 2011

Need something thought provoking, intelligent and guaranteed to stir up your curiosity?

You need a companion.

A Cambridge Companion to Literature and Classics, to be precise. There are 233 titles in this series and they are all available online, for you, provided by UW Information and Learning Services.

Topics from Greek Tragedy to American Crime Fiction. Feminist Literary Theory to Literature on Screen. Shakespeare. Austen. Poe. Caryl Churchill. And 225 more titles.

Log on in the usual way, click on Resources Online and choose Ebooks. You’ll see Cambridge Companions on the list. You can select a title to read online or search for the topic you’re interested in. Fantabulous for anyone studying English, Drama, Film, History or American Studies. Or for generally intelligent and inquisitive people who need a companion but don’t have the time machine to impress them with.
