New Library Catalogue: IE7 Display problem August 12, 2011

Posted by Darren in All categories.

If you’re using older versions of Internet Explorer Display problem (IE7 or below),  you’ll find it struggles to display the new Library Catalogue correctly: you’ll be missing the menu bar at the top of the page which links out to ‘Catalogue Home | Accessibility | Feedback | Help | My Account | My Lists’

Those old versions of IE just can’t handle all the spiffy new library catalogue goodness 🙂 It’s easily fixed though: just visit http://tech.uk.msn.com/internet-explorer-8/ and upgrade to IE8!

Hi Darren,

Have been using the new version of the catalogue to check inter library requests. Is there a “new search” button to click, once you have finished looking for a particular book? I keep using the “go back a page” arrow icon to clear the search page, but it would be quicker if you could just clear the screen from the search page you have been using. Hope that makes sense!
