How to log into UNiDAYS October 12, 2012

Posted by Jess in All categories.

Please Note: This is not an endorsement of UNiDAYS services or products, merely a technical note to give assistance on using their site.

We’re aware of an increasing number of stores (Waterstones, Top Shop, Dotty Ps) using the UNiDAYS discount scheme. Love the fact you’re all getting discounts, not so keen on the mechanism they’re choosing to make them available to you: the UNiDAYS site prompts you for an ‘ATHENS’ password, which you will probably not know the first thing about. (We like to save you from all the technobabble, which lets you access the resources you need get on with your studies.)

Here is a step-by-step help guide to help overcome the problems with registering for the UNiDAYS scheme.

1.  You’d go to their http://www.myunidays.co.uk site (or at one of the retailers using the scheme) and sign up:

2. Register with your details:

3. To verify that you’re a student their site will ask what university you study at. Type ‘university of worcester’ here and click on the ‘Verify’ button.

4. This is where their site will prompt you to login using your ‘Athens account’. Click on the ‘Log In Using Athens’.

5. DON’T enter your credentials here, instead click ‘Alternative Login’ at the bottom of the pop-up:

6. This takes you to another screen where you need to search for ‘university of worcester’ again:

7. The results will show 2 listings for ‘University of Worcester’. Make sure you click on the first option:

8. You’ll be prompted to continue to our UW login page. Click on the link:

9. You should recognise our page which is displayed next. Just login using your usual university username and password:

10. You’re finished!

You can now start saving!

(With thanks to University of Lincoln.)

Undeniably believe that which you said. Your favorite justification appeared to be on the web the easiest thing to be aware of.
I say to you, I certainly get irked while people consider worries that they just do not know about.
You managed to hit the nail upon the top and also defined out
the whole thing without having side effect , people
can take a signal. Will probably be back to get
more. Thanks

Hi Beth, would you be able to double check that you followed the instructions on this post correctly? I’m afraid this blog is all the support we’re able to give, if you’re still having problems then you’ll need to get support through unidays themselves: https://www.myunidays.com/support
